I'm sure every bride says this, but this really was the dress of my dreams, and I still get compliments on it from friends and family!
I joked that my bridal look was minimalist-Enya-fairy-queen. I loved the way the sleeves and the back drape, and that the beading evoked nature vibes without being overtly floral.
The beading detail is unbelievable - so intricate and gives the dress some specialness without being glittery.
I got married in the South, in September, and the dress was lightweight enough that I was comfortable but substantial enough not to worry if it was see-through or too flimsy.
I'm tall - 5'11" - and didn't have the dress shortened at all; in the photos, I'm wearing 3" heels. Some details you should be aware of if you're considering this dress:
Alterations: I had three alterations made - the straps were shortened ever so slightly. I had an interior waist stay added to help distribute the weight of the dress (it made super easy to dance/move in); photos available upon request. There isn't a bustle, but I had a loop added on the undermost skirt layer that makes carrying the short train very easy.
Minor Blemishes:
- At the back, a few bead threads came loose that I had sewn down again,
- At both hips, there are two small areas where the bead threads wore away - it sounds dramatic but is barely detectable while wearing it (pictures included in my listing).
- There are also three dots on the very innermost layer at the bottom hem, which the dry cleaner was unable to get out.
Accessories: I have a shoulder/elbow length, single-layer veil with comb to include, and two belt options, which I didn't end up wearing but are lovely.
Each is a simple 1.5" ribbon with a clean bow at the center, with eye-and-hook closure at a few different widths, one is plain cream grosgrain and the other is cream velvet. I can include those at no extra charge along with the dress!
Condition: The dress was professionally dry-cleaned after the wedding and comes with an unbleached cloth garment bag.
