My own words:
This dress was so much fun to wear. It is the perfect balance between a formal gown and a spirited party dress, while having a touch of vintage. You can see how this dress moves, and is great for the whole day in our short wedding video here http://vimeo.com/55579605
It has amazing vertical pleats, as well as three bands of silk ribbon running horizontally at the natural waist. There are two silk ribbons that are attached at the waist, and drop toward the floor with silk covered buttons on the ends. I love this subtle detail! I did not purchase the fascinator from Caroline Devillo that is pictured at the waistline on the Bella dress on Nordstrom.com and on this listing. I wore a bird cage veil with a fascinator, so I thought have two fascinators would be overkill. Also to save cost, I did not purchase the petticoat from Caroline, but wore a less expensive one from David's bridal (http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Fit-and-Flare-Slip-550) The dress can be worn with or without a petticoat. I will include my petticoat for anyone interested in the dress at no extra fee - then you can see if you like it with! I also wore a corset with the dress, but you could wear just a strapless bra, or have one sewn in.
FYI, the price paid shown does not include any of the alterations, cleaning, or preservation. To ensure superior condition of the dress will arrive in the presrvation box provided by Davis Imperial Cleaners of Chicago.
