Willowby by Watters, Chasing the Sun Collection, purchased from a dress shop called Styled by TC in Brea, California. The ivory lace pops beautifly underneath the nude underlining of both the top and the skirt. This 2 piece gown adorns a Yuzo top with dramatic bell sleeves that drape elegantly from the elbow down. The slightly off the shoulder sleeves has an illusion neckline and an intricate buttom up detail in the back.
The fit and flair style grove skirt features matching peekaboo lace panels with a hidden zipper and a beautifullt drapped train, about 2 feet. The skirt lining has about a 2-3 inch gap in the stitching, however, you cannot see it when worn. The original owner stated there was minor use shown on lace, but I have been unable to locate it. It was worn once for her wedding and professionally drycleaned and shipped to me in the original garment bag.
I have gained about 20 lbs and cannot take any photos of the dress, and unfortunately will not be wearing this whimsical gown on my wedding day. I have only worn it once to try it on after i purchased it. My loss is your gain. Below are my measurements before my weight gain when I tried the gown on after purchase.
Bra: 34 D- a little tight, as you can tell in the photos. Would fit a C cup or a 32 band size much better.
Jeans: Size 25
Height: I am 5'4" tall and the dress dragged on the floor about a quarter of an inch. It really depends on where the skirt fits on your hips.
Measurements of the dress, laying flat
Armpit to armpit: 17 inches
Shoulder to bottom: 11.5 inches
Sleeves : 26 inches
Waist, top of the skirt, does not stretch or ahve any give: 12.5 inches
Length int he front: 41 inches
Length in the back: 65 Inches
Willoby street size is a size 2
I hope this dress makes you feel beautiful in an ethereal kind of way. I have never seen anything like it, and I will always remember the detail in this dress. I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
