Romantic Lace Wedding Gown Featuring a Statement Illusion Train
The dress has a beautiful lightweight feel, off-white in color. It has a full lace bodice, very light sheer-ness to it, with light boning for medium to light support. It is an off-the-shoulder style with lace cap sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. The train is sheer with beautiful lace trim, and no heavy lining under the train, this is what makes the dress so lightweight, unique, and easy to handle.
It is perfect for any season of the year wedding. If you are planning a winter in the church wedding or a summer on the beach wedding this dress is perfect for any of those. It has a little sparkle to it with clear sequin. It has double lightweight lining so it is not see-through in the lighted day.
Alterations: It is a size 14 but fits like a 10-12. It does not fit like a true size 14, which usually fits me really big. Minimal alterations were done (can't tell that anything was done to it) on the hips and the front lining (was a bit too long to walk without tripping), taken in a little, because I have no hips and some butt, and the dresses lace was bulging at the hips.
I am a true to size 12 from top to bottom, 38D or 39"(bra off), waist 37, hips 40, 5'4". The photos included are after alterations were done. I also took pictures with a burgundy towel under half of it to give a visual of the minimal sheerness of the bodice. The dress was not used because we decided to do a small ceremony and a big honeymoon. I do not have a bra on nor do I have a girdle on and yes I have a definite mom pouch. A girdle can be worn if needed without being noticed due to the minimal sheerness of the bodice. The dress creates the flattering look on its own.
