This simple A-line shape gown has floating layers of silk-satin and chiffon that create a romantic and timeless style. In addition, the material stands up to wrinkles and thus, you can actually sit on your big day! It has a sweetheart neckline which enhances even the smallest bust and is empire cut thus, giving the illusion of a very tiny waist. The dress is VERY forgiving, so you will be able to eat on your wedding day! I bought this dress brand new for my wedding and wore it for only 4 hours in October of 2007. It was purchased for $3,400 and had additional custom alterations for $500. The dress fits like a glove (Measurements are bust: 34”, Waist: 28”, Hips 36”, Height 5 ft. 3”- I’m 5.1” and wore 2.5” heels). The custom alterations shortened each layer of the dress to my height - a cheaper alteration would have just cut off the bottom hem. The dress was altered to be easily bustled - there are only 5 buttons in the back. In addition, since the dress is layered, it still has a continuous silhouette when bustled. You can pick up the dress or I can ship it to your address. Shipping Costs are extra.
