I purchased this dress from someone that bought it at Glamour Closet - a local shop that specializes in selling high-end designer's sample dresses. The tag from the Glamour Closet says it was originally $7990. I believe she got it at a sale for just over $1000 and now I am asking even less. It is an absolutely beautiful dress, but I found something that I think suites me better. It is in great condition. The only flaw is that the hook-eye closure at the top of the zipper is broken (zipper still works great, but the closure just gives that extra bit of insurance, I guess). This is marked as a size 10 and is a little large on me (normally a 5/6). The pictures that the original seller took are much better than the ones I did, so I hope she doesn't mind that I'm using them to advertise this dress again. The person the dress is on is five feet tall with measurements of 36-30-34. She usually wears a size 6 and she is five feet tall (standing on a one foot tall stool). So as you can see, it is a little bit big on her as well. It could probably be worn by someone with slightly larger measurements and can definitely be altered smaller as well. I would be happy to let you try this on if you are in the SF Bay Area and are willing to come to the dress (at my parents' house in San Carlos or at mine in Palo Alto).
