I'm using preownedweddingdress.com recommended return policy: 1) The buyer must notify you of her intention to return the item within 2 days of receiving it. The item must be returned in the exact condition in which it was sent. 2) The buyer must provide a tracking number for the return shipment within 5 days. The return shipment must be insured for the purchase value and returned at the buyer's expense. 3) The refund will not be provided until the seller receives the returned item and confirms its condition.
Dress Alterations
The skirt was hemmed in front for a 5’9” height bride wearing ~1/2” shoes, so it would work for someone that height or shorter. I also had the seamstress add strings so that the skirt can be bustled if desired (one of these need to be re-stitched) and added a scallop of lace to each corner of the sweetheart neckline to turn it into more of a soft v-neck. These could be easily removed if you prefer the sweetheart. There were no alterations other than that. There is not much allowance through the bodice or hips for it to be let out, but it could certainly be taken in.

The dress was worn once for about 6 hours for my wedding this summer. It is in like-new condition and has been professionally dry cleaned and stored in a pet free/smoke free home. The dress is all-over lace with organza and satin sheaths underneath. I love this dress so much. It stretched the budget a bit, but I couldn't help myself. I loved that it provided a little more coverage while still being very feminine and romantic. (Side note - we had a perfect wedding and after 4 months are still happily married, so there is nothing but good karma coming along with the gown!)
