Founded in 2004
Josie Daga founded Pre Owned Wedding Dresses in 2004 after searching unsuccessfully to find a way to sell her own designer wedding dress.
Josie received her BA and MBA from the University of Richmond, and while working full time at an advertising agency, built the original website herself, incorporating all of the features she knew wedding dress buyers and sellers wanted, but didn't exist anywhere else. Josie's been a bridesmaid 14 times, has attended over 100 weddings and has given too many wedding speeches to count. She's a self proclaimed sucker for true love and, of course, a beautiful wedding dress. A Charleston native, she now lives in Toronto with her husband, David, and their two children.
