Beauriful Beaded Lace Sweetheart Mermaid Wedding Dress
I loved this dress, it was exactly what I was looking for. It has a long beautiful lace train, which was great for the pictures and created a beautiful bustle. The lace train consists of flowers and leaves. I didn't want a simple dress, but I also did not want an ostentatious dress, this dress landed in the middle and I felt like it fit my personality.
It also has lacey cutouts on the side and back, which adds to the sexiness, while maintaining class, one of my more favorite things about the dress. I am self-conscious of my belly and did say no to other dresses because of this, but this dress, even before I lost weight, flattered my body (especially my belly), which was a BIG reason as to why I said yes to this dress.
Alterations: Being totally honest, the beading does add weight to it, so it is on the heavier side, which is one of two reasons why I added the sleeves. The first reason is that I am self-conscious about my arms as well, and I felt that the sleeves delicately hid them. There is flexibility in the sleeves as you can have them hanging or pull them up to your shoulders to help the dress from weighing down (as can be seen in my pictures).
That said, the sleeves can be removed by a seamstress.
I am 5'6 and 150 pounds, so the sizing was adjusted to this. It was hemmed to accommodate my height with 3-inch heels.
