Beautiful Long Sleeve A-Line Wedding Dress with Plunging V-Neck
The dress - The Wyatt by L'Amour Calla Blanche is the dream A-line silhouette wedding gown! The top portion fits like a glove but flexes gently with your movement. The dress hugs the waist tightly, brilliantly showing off your hourglass figure, and quickly shifts into the typical flowing A-line fit below the waistline.
The gown's open back, high leg slit, and plunge illusion v-neck offer modernity and sensuality, which is a perfect contrast and compliment to the illusion long sleeves that give the gown a more traditional appearance.
The ivory color of the gown works well with a variety of skin tones and gives a warm and friendly effect, unlike more traditionally bright and sterile white dresses.
Finally, this gown has pockets! This feature was more than helpful for stashing a copy of my vows for the ceremony.
My personal experience - My wedding celebration was at the beginning of October in the mountains, and this dress fit the foliage and brisk weather ambiance so spectacularly! The A-line silhouette is so flattering to the hourglass figure and offered me confidence and ease on my wedding day. The gown was honestly a Fall wedding dream come true, but I can see it fitting the scene for a winter or spring wedding wonderfully. The alterations - The Wyatt was listed as a size 8 by L'Amour Calla Blanche, which uses 36" bust, 27" waist, 38" hips, and 61" hollow-to-hem (in U.S. standard sizing). The dress was then altered in the waist to approximately 26" and ever-so-slightly in the shoulder height to accommodate a shorter torso. The length of the train was altered for a bride height of 5'6" (which already accounts for your heels). The dress contains nude bodice lining. Finally, a single piece of glitter tulle was added under the first layer of gown tulle to add a sparkly effect! This is a complete list of alterations.
