ROMANTIC OFF-THE-SHOULDER CAP SLEEVE BALLGOWN WEDDING DRESS WITH 3D FLORAL APPLIQUES AND LACE
This dress is so lovely. It's fitted at the waist with a medium ballgown fluff skirt, which really accentuates your curves while also hiding any lower belly puffiness that you want to hide.
I planned my wedding in 12 days, so I did not exercise or dieting to get a bridal body, and I felt so confident in this dress. I have a large chest, so I wanted support, while still showing some cleavage and having an open back. The cap sleeves were very supportive, that I didn't have to use any type of bra or tape.
From the designer: Fit for the modern-day princess, this dress is a dreamy design. Organic lace detailing trims the neckline, extending slightly off the shoulder and finishing in delicate cap sleeves. Layered lace creates a unique 3D floral effect, adding texture and dimension to this design. The ornate lace from the bodice extends onto the full ballgown skirt and scatters to the hem. A wide V-back gives the illusion of a completely open back and is adorned with organic lace detailing to match the front of the gown. Sparkle layers in the skirt give a dramatic, shimmering effect while lace appliques finish off the hem perfectly. The back of this romantic ballgown zips up beneath crystal buttons.
The alterations that I did on this dress:
- Trimmed the mesh at the top of the cap sleeves and along the open back. The mesh looked a bit too dark for my skin color.
- Hemmed 1/2 inch off the bottom of the dress because I was wearing flats.
- Resewed button loops for the back crystal buttons.
- Removed the padded cups.
