Illusion Sequin Floral Applique Wedding Dress
I still remember the first time I put it on: the way it made me feel! It felt like a glove! All my flaws suddenly became my greatest assets!! My husband (then fiance) was with me. He fell in love with it as much as I had. It was the second dress I had put on. While I did get that feeling (this is the one), I still felt like I had to try on a few more. After trying six additional dresses, I went back to this one and bought it. I still love it and how it made me feel on that day. While I am sad to see it go, I want someone else to feel as amazing in it as I had.
Condition: I stupidly steamed a hole in the tulle an hour before the ceremony, in one of the underlayers. There are 4 layers of tulle: the top - where the flowers are applied, the second - which is where the hole is (about 4 inches in length), and the inner two. It's located in the front, lower left side. No one saw the hole, thankfully. I have included some photos of the hole, also showing how it looks with the top layer over it.
While I did have it professionally cleaned, there are still a few sections on the hem that are darker than the dress. (Photos included).
Also, I have one button missing on the back. (Photos included).
Alterations: I did have David's Bridal alter it. I am 5'4 and 3/4 and wore 3-inch heels. They tailored the length of the dress according to those measurements. The other thing I had tailored was the back zipper, I have a short torso, so they removed about 1 inch of length. I am 34G and this dress supported me with no bra!
