This dress is the dress of dreams! I cried happy tears when I first tried it on and I felt so beautiful in it!
After speaking with the shopkeeper at Terry Costa Dallas where the dress was purchased, apparently, this dress is what they call a "One of a Kind" dress; which means that it was a stock dress made by Madison James that never went to mass production. I never realized it was a dress no one else had ever had, which makes it even more special!
It is very similar to the MJ267 dress from the same year, but my back is mid-back rather than low-back in the MJ267. The other difference from the MJ267 is that it is not beaded anywhere. Just lace. But the lace on the MJ267 is almost identical.
The champagne underlay is stunning and adds so much depth to the ivory lace detailing. It is open-backed to the middle of the back and has gorgeous buttons all the way down the small of the back to the floor. The front allows for just the right amount of cleavage to be shown without giving away too much. The dress fits perfectly to show off your body shape as it flows out just below the derrière and cascades behind you so you truly feel like a regal princess! It has the perfect amount of train - not too much and not too little! Just right for Goldilocks! It fit me like a glove and needed no alterations.
The only alteration made was adding a bustle which I feel is a major bonus (one less expense/thing to tick off your busy bridal to-do list!).
Come and grab a bargain - a stunning, brand new dress with no tears, stains, or alterations (apart from that necessity of a bustle!). You will not regret it as you sparkle down that aisle to meet your beloved. :)
