Long-Sleeved Floral Lace Mermaid Wedding Dress
Vintage puff sleeve mermaid wedding dress in 3-D floral motifs.
Ivory color over Misty Mauve. Fit is flattering and hugs the waist just right to make it very slimming. Low V-neck line and V back. I fell in love with this dress because of the vintage puff sleeves and form-fitting style. The low V neckline made it feel sexy, yet elegant enough for the setting. I also loved the 3-D flowers and how it looks like they are jumping off the dress.
It comes with lace/puff sleeves included, can be detached with ease via snap buttons for a sleeveless look.
3-in of length was taken off the dress initially, prior to ordering. I am 5'5" and a 2-in heel was perfect. My seamstress had to take in the breast area a bit (my bust is 32.5), the waist, hips (I wish she would have made the hips/butt area tighter even), and did a lot of work creating a bustle for me with about 11 snaps or so. For the bustle, there are also ties attached. The gown has a gorgeous train. Alterations cost was $800.
As for flaws, I took the dress to get professionally cleaned, but they could not get out completely a wine stain in the front, (pictures will show) slight discoloration there. There are also some tiny beads along the permanent straps that have fallen off. Lastly, because the train is so long, the very edges of it have stains that they were unable to get out (maybe taking it in more could take care of this).
