Gorgeous Cap Sleeve Pearl Tulle Wedding Dress with Low Back
This dress was my dream dress for my dream day! I wanted something simple but elegant, and this dress was just that. The floral embroidery and pearls on the bodice and skirt are really what sold me on the dress. I'd never seen a dress with pearls all over the entirety of it, and I just loved it!
I absolutely fell in love with the embroidered cap sleeves as well! The removable belt and veil are both included with your purchase and really tied together the whole look. I have a lot of insecurities when it comes to wearing dresses, and this dress absolutely made me forget every single one of them!
Condition: The only flaw is that a few of the small pearls fell off on the bottom of the skirt during the dancing at the reception (I can't even see where they fell off), but a bag of replacement pearls that came with the dress is also included in your purchase just in case you want to add any back.
Alterations:
- sleeves taken up by roughly a 1 1/2 inch to fit the torso better as I have a shorter torso
- roughly 3 inches taken off the bottom because I only wore a small heel
- ivory/stone-colored "modesty panel" inserted/sewn into the chest area to cover the plunging v-neck that was previously only covered by a thin layer of tulle
- 3 point bustle was added for dancing purposes (3 tiny loops on the back of the skirt that hook around 3 small, clear buttons on the back of the waist area of the dress) - the bustle made the dress very easy to dance in!
These alterations can easily be adapted to fit your image for the dress. I will also include some left-over fabric that matches the ivory/stone under-layer of the dress in case you need it for any alterations. I hope you love this dress as much as I did!
