Beautiful Private Design Tiered Tulle Princess A-Line Wedding Dress in Ivory
I loved this dress! My wedding was in June 2022, and I bought this dress at Emma & Grace Bridal. I made a few alterations to make it more comfortable and easy to dance in. The A-line is very stunning with the layered lace and detail on the back. I was comfortable all night and rarely left the dance floor.
It has a V-neck, modest coverage, open back, beautiful detail, and flowers throughout the lace. My favorite part of the dress is the intricate details on the layered lace of flowers that gave it a dainty look. The long train bustled up perfectly into six secure bustles. We added silk on the underside of the straps to make the dress comfortable without compromising the beautiful lace and details. It was so easy to dance in and was small enough that I could easily hug my friends and family throughout the night without feeling like I was in a big dress.
I paired it with a veil from Amazon, and it matched perfectly!
I steamed the dress by hand before wearing it, and the lace went flat but still had a lot of volume. I felt beautiful, strong, and fun in this dress for an evening with all of my favorite people!
Condition: The imperfections are very minimal. There is a small makeup mark on the right sleeve (I don’t wear much makeup) and a little dirt on the bottom of the inside layer of lace from walking outside.
Alterations: It almost fit me perfectly upon purchase, but we made a few alterations to fit: Size 6 waist, 36C Cup, I am 5’8" tall and wore 2-inch heels (the dress would fit 5'10" with no heel). Regularly I wear a 6-8 dress, medium top, medium bottom. We added silk under the lace straps to make it more comfortable. The dress originally had a thick layer of stiff material underneath for shape, and we took it out to make it flow more and to give it a softer shape. My seamstress added 6 bustles to secure the dress. She also added cups to the bust of the dress and took lace from the dress to cover some cleavage and make the dress more modest. I LOVE to dance and was afraid the open cleavage would cause some trouble, but the dress fits securely and comfortably.
I really hope this dress can make someone's wedding as beautiful and fun as ours was! It is in great shape and it is too beautiful not to be worn again.
