Alterations and Condition of Dress:
The gown was bustled with a one-point bustle, shortened to floor length with flats, straps, and keyhole back sewn to lay flat on the back, the sides were taken out slightly, belt sewn onto the dress, and missing beads on the belt were resewn.
The dress is in great shape. No snags or tears in the lace. The bottom hem is a little dirty but should come out easily. The wedding day was sunny and most of the day was spent inside so no water or mud damage.
Feelings about the dress:
I felt beautiful in this dress. I didn’t think I would be the big ball gown type dress person, but the second I put it on, I loved it. The belt defined my waist and added a little sparkle, the keyhole back was stunning, and I felt supported by the straps and inner lining. Even with a few extra Covid pounds at the wedding, I felt elegant and beautiful. It had a small train which was great and bustled easily for dancing! Overall it was the perfect dress for me and I hope to pass it on to someone that will feel beautiful in it as well!
