Classic Sleeveless Mikado Ball Gown Wedding Dress with Empire Waist
This Stella York dress was the royal-inspired, classic dress of my dreams. I was very interested in a dress that would look timeless but also provide comfort all day.
It has wide straps and a classic ballgown look to the skirt. There is a train with buttons all down the back, which you can see in the photos. There is a bustle already attached to the dress. The best part? It has pockets!! Which was very useful during the reception!
Sizing & Alterations: I'm 5'4" and the length of the dress was just a bit too long when I first bought the dress. With alterations, I think the length would fit anyone 5'6" and shorter. The length was the only alteration that I needed, as the straps miraculously worked right off the hanger. At the time of my wedding, I was between a street size 8 and size 10, but the size of the dress is listed at a 10.
Condition: There is a tiny bit of wear and tear around the back of the belt line, but it is not noticeable at all. I opted not to wear a belt with it, but I imagine that it would look lovely with one if you decide to add it!
