Used David's Bridal Mother of the Bride Dress Size 12

This is a Wonder by Jenny Packham gown purchased at David's Bridal in late 2016 for an October 2017 wedding. My daughter wanted a Vera Wang dress from David's that had shades of pink. I looked at gowns here only because I wanted to see how they looked - colorwise - next to her ivory and pink wedding dress sample. While doing so, I fell in love with this beige dress with the many colorful tiny sequins of turquoise, pink, ivory, bronze, and more. Hard to actually call this beige since the multi-colored sequins transform the color of the gown. I also liked the stretchy fabric which made it so comfortable to wear (not to mention allowed room for my shifting weight pre-wedding).

I didn't like the high scoop neckline though, so I had it altered by an amazing seamstress who created a V-neck which I find more flattering for a larger bust like mine. The gown also has a deep V in the back. I wore it only for the wedding so it is in great shape, but there is a tiny 1/2" tear in the hem, which if hemmed, would disappear and frankly, if worn at this length, a quick stitch would do and it would be next to impossible to notice. I included a photo to show you what I mean here.
