The BEST dress I could have chosen for my wedding, so light and not heavy at all. Felt like a princess from the moment I put it on and danced the night away!
The dress has a corset inside which makes your waist look particularly smaller and the bust perkier. The fabric is a pleated satin which makes it great for traveling because it doesn’t wrinkle and there was NO need to iron the dress the day of the wedding. The light ivory color of the dress is just gorgeous, and it looks way better in real life!
The dress fits like a glove, I lost a little weight and was able to adjust the internal corset by making another position, so it was tighter at the moment of closing. The only alterations made were the extra hole to make the internal corset tighter and I adjusted the bottom hem to fit my height of 5'7", but I didn't cut any fabric, so if you are taller than me you will be able to wear it perfectly.
When I tried the dress at Danielle Frankel, I was given a ribbon to tie around my waist and also a tulle underlay to wear for the ceremony. I did not purchase them at the store because it was already out of my budget. So, I decided to purchase the fabric and make a more affordable version myself. Sadly, I lost the ribbon and will keep the underlay 😊.
The only blemish on the dress is some minor fraying on the strap, but this is barely noticeable.
