This a beautiful, exotic one of a kind Julia Kontogruni (from Bulgaria) wedding dress with swarovsky crystals, pearls, lace overlay on a champagne bodice, and lots of wow! It has a long beautiful train for a traditional look walking down the aisle and a great 13 button bustle so you can dance the night away! The “flare” part of this dress is layers of light champagne tulle, and top layer of ivory, with lace patches, lace at the bottom of each layer of the train, and polka dots every other panel for a fun spin. I wanted a sexy dress and couldn't decide between a strapless and low back/sheer back/V back dress, and with this one, I didn't have to choose. It has the "tattooed" beading effect on the back making it look like the beads are directly on your skin, especially since the meshing is skin color. I enjoyed the look of strapless without worrying about keeping the dress pulled up at the top. I pieced together the front bead pattern from another one of J.K.'s dresses to replace the original bead pattern for this dress. The dress shop may a few changes to the back beading as requested too, which made this dress even more custom (one of a kind). I absolutely love how unique this dress is and how many features it has while still maintaining a classic silhouette, the fit and flare.
I couldn't tell you how many times I heard, "I've never seen anything like this wedding dress" at my wedding! This was the effect I was going for. I hope someone else can share the experience of wearing this very unique, beautiful, sexy dress! <3<3. Note: there is a small (3 inch) tear at the very bottom of the tulle near the hem on one side which can easily be mended (photos included), or if you are shorter, it may end up being hemmed under. All of the meshing is in tact, no holes/tears. Also, the dress is maintained on a hanger, but not hung from the meshing, so it is not stretched out. There is also paper stuffing inside the chest area to preserve the shape. This dress was and is very well cared for.
Under the layers of tulle, there is a satin lining. The very bottom of the satin, where it meets the floor, has minimal dirt from wearing and might need to be cleaned. I've included a photo.
