I bought this dress as a sample, it had been worn down the runway. Katerina's designs are made-to order, and the quality is of the finest workmanship.
100% Duchess Silk (as you can tell from the photos, it has a lovely sheen to it.
BELT: This is the show piece, the entire belt that wraps completely around the dress, is made of sparkling Swarovski Crystal Rhinestones, and ivory pearls- in "X" patterns. The photo I've attached shows how it sparkles rainbows, it is truly spectacular without being over the top at all. Very subtle.
BOW- The Belt also has a lovely bow that sits off the left of the waist. It reminds me of a sophisticated Japanese flower. It is Timeless- I feel that women would wear this dress for the next 20, 30, 40 years- and it will still look great.
