I bought this dress in March 2014, over a year before my wedding, when I was "just looking" at dresses. The vines and leaves lace pattern made me swoon and my mom teared up, which sealed the deal. As you can probably predict, maybe it wasn't the best idea to buy a dress before we had picked our venue.
A few months after buying the dress, we decided to have the wedding in my husband's parents' backyard. So now I had a dress that felt too fancy for me for the wedding. I ended up buying a different dress, and this one has hung in my closet since then. That being said, I absolutely adored my original dress. The lace is soft and drapey with a beautiful vines and leaves pattern. The lace is also completely matte, which looks stunning in pictures. The dress itself is lightweight and very comfortable, and the the draping at the bodice and skirt adds flowiness and movement.
The dress is unworn, unaltered, and has been stored in a pet-free, smoke-free home. I'd love to send it on to another bride! I hope it makes you feel as gorgeous as it did me.
Fit: The dress in the picture is a little big in the waist and bust, and delightfully formfitting in the hips. I am 5'4" and my measurements are 35- 27- 39.
