NOTE: Please don't go off of my measurements. They're estimated from my measurements prior to gaining some weight and I no longer fit the dress. Luckily it was not altered so if you are a US size 4/UK size 8 and/or remember that seamstresses can do magical things to make dresses fit, this dress will work for you!
I tried to include high quality photos of the dress so you can see the colors and the beautiful lace in particular. All lace on each Rue de Seine dress is hand drawn in-house by their seamstresses in New Zealand, so it it truly unique.
I received the dress in 2019, with plans for our 2020 wedding. Unfortunately, we had to cancel due to the pandemic. We did end up doing a small civil ceremony but I wore a different dress because quarantine had its way with me and I gained some weight so I no longer fit the dress. The seamstresses were closed, so the beautiful thing just stayed in my closet. We have no current plans to have a ceremony anytime soon and it took me a while to come around to this, but it's such a waste to leave it in my closet. It's a beautiful gown and I truly want someone else to be able to wear it. It's a bohemian dream, and I love it because it truly isn't your typical wedding dress. I did have it dry cleaned after I first tried it on but a couple of things to note: there are some minor marks on the inside of the dress, not at all visible when you wear it. Because it has a long chiffon train and it has sat in the dress bag for a long time, it is wrinkled on the bottom but of course, this could be fixed in a jiff. Other than that the dress is practically new since other than a hair taken off the hemline, there aren't alterations. I will be shipping it in the original dress bag it came in.
