"Gentry" gown by Austin Scarlett. Strapless column gown with sculptured origami bow accent and detachable train. Made of Silk Radzmir. Sweetheart neckline. As seen on the cover of Brides magazine.
SIZE: Label is size 2, which is equivalent to a street size 2, not a bridal size 2. CONDITION: This is NEW and never been worn to a wedding. I hate to let it go, but I decided on a different dress. NOTES: This bow is to die for. The back dips to a "v," which is an elegant yet sexy feature. Incredible one-of-a-kind modern, feminine, classy design-- at a steal. This dress retails for $4650 (I verified this with a high end boutique in my city).
From writer Kelly Massicot: Designer Austin Scarlett has captivated the world since his appearance on season 1 of "Project Runway," when the design contest was on Bravo. With a background in theatre and costume design, Scarlett's range spans the likes of red carpet ready to avant-garde runway. Since 2012, Austin Scarlett has brought his theatrical touch to the world of bridal couture. Madame Figaro Magazine has described his work as "technically innovative and esthetically sublime," while Elle Magazine believes it is "worthy of a goddess."
A taste of Scarlett's design philosophy is offered in this quote on his website, "A wedding dress is the expression of a woman's unique beauty at her most treasured moment."
This final gown recently turned cover-gown. Brides Magazine put the Austin Scarlett Gentry its February/March 2015 cover. The gown is a strapless, Silk Radzmir column gown with a sculptured origami bow accent.
