Elegant A-Line Wedding Dress With Pockets
Pearl blended ivory silk faille pleated full A-line gown with pockets and draped off the shoulder bodice, chapel train. Worn once.
No alterations aside from the addition of an American bustle. (See pictures.)
The dress has not been professionally cleaned and so there are some small blemihses/dirt spots near the bottom of the dress.
The gown showed off my collarbones and accentuated my waistline. The satin ivory fabric has a beautiful pearlescent sheen.
I generally wear a size 8/10, 36C. The 10 fit me well. I had room to eat and would not have been in trouble if I gained a few extra pounds. Because of the a-line fit, I was also able to indulge in food before/after the ceremony without worrying about my stomach being bloated. I am 5'7" and wore 2" heels. I did not need to get the gown hemmed.
The pockets were roomy and enabled me to lift the gown as I walked. The zipper is a little tough, but the salespeople assured us that this is normal. We were always able to zip it.
I loved this gown and felt like a princess. I hope the next bride to wear it will feel like a princess too! If it wasn't so big, I would keep it forever.
