GREAT news for some lucky bride!! This dress is UNALTERED still in the FedEx packaging from the factory after being ordered.
Street Sizing: It could be a 2-4 for 'street size,' but I sized up for the street size because the actual dress is an unaltered 6 - so it has a wide range of sizes it could work for. My stylist literally said anyone a size 6 (approx) and under could fit into this dress and alter it to their shape. She said 6 is often the safest sample size for its ability to accommodate a range of body types and figures - which is why we ordered it. We intended to shape and craft it into the fit I wanted, in alterations.
Condition: After we very amicably changed our plans, this dress has been waiting for its new home. (It deserves its day in the sun! It has lots of potential good wedding juju!) In terms of condition, this is the real-real - it has never been opened, it has never been altered, it has never left the bag and touched the air. I attached the images of the box.
Fabric: The suggest googling mattelasse if it is not a style of material you are familiar with, as I know I was not before trying this on. It just pops. I had never seen any fabric like it. It is super light, flowy moves with you and it's fabric has these unique details - it's not lace, its not a pattern, its not a 3D anything, its a beautiful, subtle look and so unique and special. The back beaded hem is also such a sweet little touch. It looked elegant, romantic and expensive for what it cost.
Notes: My stylist at the shop who assisted me (I am happy to put you in touch with my boutique as well!) told me to make sure to note that I have not altered this dress at all AND that the style of the top allows for many and ANY changes, alterations, additions for brides who want it. She mentioned the neckline can be lowered, scallops can be added, sheer illusion could be added, sleeves could be added, etc. I loved it simple but she said that because it is unaltered and a classic shape/frame - it can truly be brand new for whatever the bride who buys it would like it to be.
