Beautiful Sparkly Floral Strapless V-Neck Couture Ball Gown Wedding Dress
I chose this dress because of the elegant, clean lines, and the pattern truly looks like snow! I also think it looks a bit like cake frosting when you come up close. The floral pattern at the top is accented with little pearls and beads, and then the sparkle slowly lessens as you go down the dress in a really pretty way.
The chic modern neckline compliments the timeless shape of the dress, so it has a unique style. I loved the way this dress felt! It was not terribly heavy, so it was easy to move in. I also appreciated that it was a simple zip-up in the back, so it was easy to put on. The bustier has a good amount of boning/structure so the dress stayed in place while I moved around. The pockets are so convenient! I carried a little granola bar and my printed vows in my pockets. This dress definitely made me feel like a princess :)
The designer's website says "poly lining", so that is why I selected "polyester" for the material--it also said floral embossed jacquard.
Alterations & Fit
I am 5'5" and wore flats, so the dress was hemmed to that height. It was taken in at the waist and bust as well, and there is no train.
While I typically wear a US street size 06-08, the dress was purchased as a size 02 with a height of 64". The measurements listed are what was taken when I ordered the dress from the salon. Maybe it is due to the forgiving nature of the beautiful fabric or the A-line silhouette, but below are my measurements from the week that I wore the dress, so they are all accurate as well:
- Bust: 35B
- Waist: 31
- Hips: 41
Condition
The skirt has one loose thread on one of the embroideries, but otherwise, it is in nearly new condition. It has been professionally cleaned/preserved, so there are no stains or blemishes. It's still in the sealed box because I want to keep it in great condition for its new owner - you! ❤️
