The gown is also made of elegant lace with a modified trumpet shaped train. The gown is slightly more fitted through the hips then a traditional A line, but then flares to an A line shape. The train has a french bustle to be used after ceremony. Beautiful shape and gorgeous lace, with scalloped bottom and top, and stunning silk button details that run down the entire back of the dress. The dress was dry cleaned and preserved the day after the wedding and has remained in an heirloom box. It is in like new condition. It is an absolutely beautiful dress, and will look classic and stunning on any bride. Everyone in attendance at our wedding raved about my dress and how stunning it looked. They all wanted to know which designer gown I was wearing, because it looked like a Vera Wang. Birnbaum and Bullock dresses have a couture quality and look that are on the same level as any other luxury bridal designers, such as Vera Wang and Monique Lhullier. I tried on those designer dresses and many others. Because I'm a designer, I have a very finite eye when it comes to fashion and quality. Unfortunately, I also have very expensive taste. This is perhaps why it took me so long to find the perfect wedding gown, because my expectation of quality and design weren't a good match for my budget. If you're looking for a high-end, couture quality wedding gown, then this dress is a tremendous value. I am also selling the custom veil that I had made to match this dress. It is also silk ivory, circle cut, train length, with a finger tip tiered face veil that looks like it was made for the dress. You can choose to use the face veil for a more traditional wedding, but I did not. I just added it because I loved the elegant waterfall look and fullness of it with the shape of the dress. The veil itself would cost over a thousand dollars if purchased from a bridal boutique. I never found a veil that looked perfect with the shape of the dress, so that is why I had one custom made. The price listed includes the veil and the dress. Once again, a very good value. I really hope to find the right person for this gown, because I would want them to feel as comfortable and beautiful as I did on the day of my wedding. I searched for the perfect wedding dress for months, and in fact, purchased one and returned it after finding this absolutely gorgeous dress. This gown had just arrived at a couture bridal boutique in New York, and the store owner allowed me to purchase the dress off the rack, even though nobody else had tried it on. It was honestly a Cinderella moment when I tried the dress on and it literally fit me like a glove. No alterations were necessary, because it was flawless. Even though I had never heard of The Birnbaum and Bullock Bridal Collection, I was very impressed by the couture details of the dress and surprised by the comfort. After trying on hundreds of designer dresses, I had never tried on a dress of that scale and princess style that felt so comfortable. Typically, the A-line or modified A-line gowns feel really heavy, bulky, and not easy to move in. Because the dress is lined in silk, the gown feels incredibly luxurious to wear.
