Elegant Figure-Flattering Pleated Ball Gown Wedding Dress with Pockets!
This dress was custom-made for me. It was originally inspired by Carol Hannah's Eyre dress. The Eyre dress is a tip-of-the-shoulder ballgown with a low scoop neck and pockets.
This dress was designed in the same cut with a different fabric for a more classic timeless look. The fabric is a silk/cotton mikado. Mikado is a precious fabric made according to an ancient Japanese silk processing technique, which makes the fabric slightly grainy on the surface, but at the same time shiny and extraordinarily bright. The fabric really elevates this dress and adds a regal quality to the sleek silhouette.
The dress also features a full train with bustles. The tip-of-the-shoulder straps provide excellent support while framing a beautiful sensual neckline that goes over the shoulders into a deep open U-back.
The dress was altered to fit my 5'4" frame and made to be worn with 2" heels. The dress currently fits these exact measurements: Bust 34A, Waist 25, Hip 38.5, Waist to Floor 42".
The dress has been professionally cleaned and there is no discoloration. It is in like-new condition. The only blemish is extremely minimal fraying where the dress touches the floor.
