I've had difficulty finding a dress that fit my body type. When I started wedding dress hunting, I immediately and only went for the dresses that covered my body (long sleeves, capes, etc) but I came across this one just to try for fun and instantly I knew this was it. It snatches my waist without making me feel uncomfortable and I can BREATHE! With that snatch in the waist, the A line is dramatic, which made me feel SO good in it.
It was very comfortable throughout my entire wedding day. I bought another evening dress to wear during our reception & dancing but I quickly realized I didn't have to change into my second dress- I just wore this one all night because I was so comfortable! During the ceremony, I had a dramatic (but not TOO dramatic) train and it bustles perfectly, so in the evening, I just had it bustled! And let me specify that we purposely made our wedding night have MORE dance time than anything else so this dress lasted throughout the entire night!
The structure in the neckline also helped with the dramatic effect that complimented the A line! It was so elegant and chic. I wore it with these beautiful glittery silver platform heels from Stuart Weitzman, no necklace (to put focus on the dress), and stringed dropped pearl earrings from Chan Luu. Simple, classy and fun!
I got a handmaid veil from my seamstress with this beautiful modern border on the edges. It was the perfect touch.
