Elegant Ruched Strapless Sweetheart Flowy A-Line Wedding Dress with Sparkly Floral Details and Pick Ups
WHAT’S TO LOVE? EVERYTHING!
I looked through literally thousands of dresses and tried on nearly a hundred. This was the one that had everything I loved! Strapless sweetheart neckline, tight-fitted pleated bodice, shimmering crystal organza, built-in shaping crinoline, zippered back with crystal button accents, bustled semi-cathedral train, a flattering and forgiving traditional A-frame silhouette modernized by strategically placed skirt pick-ups for simply stunning structural and visual interest, and the perfect amount of effeminate flower and trailing petal accents balanced by large swaths of unadorned fabric for a look that is neither too busy nor too plain. This is the Goldilocks dress - it’s just right!
Note: If you’ve never seen crystal organza in person, it is a sight to behold! Pictures cannot do it justice. It is more eye-catching than the plain sheen of silk but less gaudy than glitter. It makes the dress look like it was sprinkled with ultra-fine diamond dust. It shimmers in the light, unlike any other dress material I’ve ever seen, and is absolutely breathtaking!
ALTERATIONS:
- Two different bustle lengths were added so you can choose how long or short you want the train.
- Dress length shortened 1 to 2”
- Mesh “pockets” added inside bodice breasts to hold optional breast-enhancing push-up pads without having to wear a bra (does not affect the look or feel of dress in any way, whether using them or not and can be easily removed if desired).
IMPERFECTIONS:
- As this dress was professionally cleaned, there is NO VISIBLE DIRT OR STAINS on the exterior of the dress! Underneath (on the bottom of the layer that touched the ground) there are a few minor remnants of dirt, but they will never be seen.
- The bottom hemline stitching has expected light wear/frizzing on the sides of the dress (only visible under close-up inspection), but the front portion of the hemline is pristine, as is the back since it was mostly kept bustled.
Please note: I am 5'1" and I wore 4" heels. At this height, the dress touches the ground on all sides when wearing an additional crinoline underneath. Without additional crinoline, it would still touch the ground at a height of about 5'7", so there is some wiggle room in the "max wearable height" figure.
