This gorgeous bridal bodysuit is by Lihi Hod (an Israeli-born designer, who worked under John Galliano at Christian Dior) and is hard to find. I knew I wanted separates for the flexibility and fell in love when I saw this top! And, I appreciate that the next bride can make it her own look with any skirt... It can pair with a flowy skirt like the Maple Tree skirt or BHLDN Anika, or the Lihi Hod Blush or Anna Campbell Darcy for a more fitted look. You could even go with a tea-length, hi-low, pants, or mix up several looks throughout your wedding day!
The body suit is made of sheer stretch lace and could fit XS-M without alterations, and eliminates the need for Spanx or shapewear. My measurements are 34B bust, 27 natural waist, 37 hips, typically a small or size 2-4.
It features delicate capped sleeves, a sexy scooped back, and a gorgeous boat neckline with a plunging V underlay. I did wear pasties and I had the skirt hand-tacked to the top so it would move with me while dancing.
I had absolutely no issues with the top, loved every second of wearing it, (and yes, have thought about keeping it). However, I think it would be best served on another bride. It was hand-washed, with no stains, and has no obvious issues.
Originally $3,840 at a boutique, it was purchased at a sample for much less and therefore priced well below the original cost.
