Elegant Lace Bodice Wedding Dress with Beautiful Flowy A-Line Skirt
I knew that I wanted an A-line silhouette for my body type. I am curvy and like to have a defined waist. After trying dresses in various boutiques in Atlanta and NYC, I came across this dress at Lovely Bride in Atlanta. The designer is Louvienne, and the dress name is Sacha.
Even when I tried the sample, I knew the dress had the right bust support, boning, and shape that I was looking for. The layers are light and effortless, and the champagne undertone really complimented my skin. I felt comfortable and gorgeous in the dress!
My original wedding was supposed to be in Mexico near the beach (but not on the sand). Like many couples, we had to change, cancel, and reschedule several times. We ended up doing an intimate family ceremony in the North Georgia mountains in a vineyard, and I could not have been happier with that decision!
Bottom Line Up Front: There is a VERY small tear on the top layer of the dress, right under the bodice. Honestly, it is barely noticeable, but my cleaners sewed it to prevent the tear from widening during the professional cleaning. If you take out the stitch, you would need a microscope to notice it!
Alterations: I had the straps taken up a little (about 1 in) and the dress length taken up about 3 inches. I am 5'4" and wore 3.5in heels. My alterations person put in D cups for added support. Otherwise, there are no additional alterations.
