My husband and I both wanted a casually elegant outdoor wedding, and when I went dress shopping I knew I wanted something that had a vintage Hollywood feel, but was not too overwhelming/sparkly for my husband's midwest sensibilities. This was the third dress I tried on, and the moment I walked out in it, everyone in the bridal shop stopped talking and gasped. I still wanted to try on a few more after just to make sure it was the right one, and when I realized I couldn't stop thinking about it, I knew that I had to buy it. Nothing else compared!
Like the dress from Bella's wedding to Edward in the Twilight series, this dress is a show stopper, and even more gorgeous from the back than it is from the front. Although it looks like it has the vintage buttons all the way down the back, those are just for aesthetics- it actually closes with a zipper, the corset underneath is super adjustable, and it made my A-cup bust look INCREDIBLE (per my husband, his first thoughts seeing me walk down the aisle was "nice rack.". I have never felt more like a bombshell in my entire life, than when I wore this dress.
There were very few alterations needed for this dress- it needed to be shortened a bit, since I am only 5'4, and it was measured to fit while wearing 2 and 3/4 inch heels. There is a bustle in the back that allows you to attach the train for dancing, but when laid out, it flows/lays perfectly.
It is everything I could have asked for and more. I hope it can give as much joy and good luck to another bride as it has to me!
