This is a 100% silk brocade fitted gown by Marisa, purchased at the Bridal Boutique in Baton Rouge, in 2008.
The dress features a sweetheart neckline with a silk charmeuse sash at the natural waist. The gown fits at the hips and widens to A-line toward the hem. The back starts at mid-back and has a zipper closure.
The bodice was taken in by hand with no fabric cutting and can easily be let out. It also has basted-in, covered size A foam cups that can be easily removed doing no harm to the gown.
The sash continues around to the back and is structured into a beautiful Obi bow and sash. The hem lengthens to a court train, extending about 2' from where the gown meets the floor.
It was dry cleaned and stored hanging on a form in a smoke free home. The hem was not altered and is very clean. There are no wear and no stains that I could find.
