Beautiful Floral Long-Sleeve Fit and Flare Wedding Dress with Slit
This dress was the one from the second I tried it on. Made in Paris, lace embroidery covers the top of the dress. It was insanely flattering — and to this day, I get compliments. It was also REALLY comfortable, easy to sit and dance in, and easy to bustle. I had a complementary veil made with matching embroidery pieces directly from the designer, which made me feel so special.
This dress was ordered in a size EU42, equal to a US8. I am 5'7" and wore 3" heels.
My measurements from the bridal shop:
Bust: 35" (cup size at the time was 36B)
Waist: 28.25"
Hips: 42"
Alterations: I had cups added to the top to provide coverage while still honoring the sheer bodice. It was taken in slightly at the top of my shoulders to account for my shorter torso.
Condition: We had an outdoor wedding, so the train did get dirty throughout the night. The dress was professionally cleaned and stored in a sealed box. The hem is slightly darker than the rest of the dress, even after cleaning, and there is one stain spot on the back bottom of the dress. I’d think it possible to trim some 1” off and remove any problem areas. It might also be worth adding supplementary stitches to a few of the embroidered spots. I wish I had a place to store this dress forever, but would rather have it go to someone else who will love it!
