Lace Mermaid Wedding Dress
This 2020 collection Rosa Clara wedding gown is beautiful. It is a mermaid-type dress in beautiful rare lace. It has a ruffle overlay (which I thought of it as a veil because I did not use one) which could be removed as they were sewn in to avoid falling off.
From the designer: A sultry lace gown with a deep plunge neckline and a beaded lace bodice. Feel a long train follow behind you while an illusion back is enhanced by billowing tulle draped at the shoulders.
The dress was worn for a micro wedding as the big wedding was canceled. The dress was worn for a ceremony that was 30 minutes long and then a dinner that was about 3 hours. There was no dancing and no running around, so no sweating! It was worn during winter, so the weather helped with the no sweating.
The dress is a size 2. No alterations were made as I was an exact 2 and the length was perfect. The Rosa Clara tailor put on breast cups. The overlay was cut a bit so that it was as long as the dress in the front (to avoid tripping over it). The overlay was originally longer than the train.
Condition: The dress was professionally cleaned and it is still in its bag after the laundry service delivered it. I also have the original Rosa Clara garment bag to go with it. It has no blemishes or flaws and it is absolutely perfect.
