One word: AMAZING. I have to admit I was a little nervous about buying such a form-fitting dress for my big day (I have a healthy appetite and our spring wedding meant I'd be coming out of winter, i.e. holiday weight gain season!) BUT it was perfect. The crepe material is surprisingly forgiving and hugs all of your curves in just the right way. The long sleeves + the illusion open back (accented with Swarovski crystals) + the embellished jewel neckline = old Hollywood glamour = wedding photos that will age well with time. Crystal buttons trail down the train over the zipper and accent the first few inches of the long sleeves (beginning at the wrist). As the designer website states, it's a "sexy yet elegant sheath." It's a timeless design, and you'll love this beautiful dress as much as I did.
For more photos and a video of the dress, you can check out the Sottero and Midgley website: https://www.maggiesottero.com/sottero-and-midgley/arleigh/10547
Other points to consider:
(1) The detailing on this dress is so perfect that only a simple pair of earrings isneeded. I wore a pair of pearl drop earrings and it worked really well.
(2) There is a bustle for this dress, which can be a little complicated, but I have a video that I can share with you, if interested.
(3) The illusion back will look bare in photos, but you'll be completely covered! A win if you're concerned about modesty.
Finally, I'm including my Helen Martin veil with the dress. For the dress + veil, I paid $2033. I'm asking for $1100, a 54% discount!
