This wedding dress is the 9074B style by Watters. I bought this dress in 2020, however, I believe it is older than that as I bought it from a resale shop. I have no idea how old it is. It still has the original $3680 tag from Macy's. Never worn but it has been tried on several times prior to my purchase as the hem has been damaged. It has not been professionally cleaned and is unaltered. I would describe it as a Classic, Elegant wedding dress featuring Beading, Embroidered, a A-line silhouette, and a Sweetheart neckline. It also has rinestones.
I beleive this drfess runs big as I am 36 bust, 30, waist and 41 hip and I have about 2 inches of material to gather at the back to make it fit. So I am guessing this will fit someone with up to a 38 bust, 32 waist, and hips can be 43-45 or maybe more as this area is looser than the rest of the dress.
DAMAGE: The damage that would be eliminated with alteration is: Hem has been stepped on and is dingy on the edge. This is only on the silk overlay in tha back side of the dress and should come out when the dress is altered. As well, whomever alters the dress can repair the three, very small snags in the boddice. This dress originally accomodates someone who is arould 5'10". If you want to keep the train and are 5'6" or smaller, the damage should be eliminated in alteration. Otherwise, the train can be shortened and the damage eliminated.
There is three very tiny holes in the dress as displayed in one of the pictures and could be eliminated during alteration depending on how far the dress is altered.
There are two very light stains from just being stored which are in the back of the dress. One is on the top silk overlay and the other is one the bottom layer and, if unable to dry clean out, should not be noticable. I beleive both spots should be eliminated with dry cleaning.
