Romantic Strapless Tulle and Lace A-Line Wedding Dress
August 2023 dress - This beautiful dress's design is the perfect balance of modern and romantic, especially with the sheer tulle topper that transforms the look 2-in-1. The corset-style bodice was so flattering and comfortable, and the lace & tulle materials looked delicate and ethereal although very resilient (no wrinkles from long flights in a travel garment bag, and nothing that catches damagingly from outdoor elements!)
I received so many compliments on the dress and how expensive it looked! The half-moon neckline is something different from a lot of other dresses I tried on. A design that looks gorgeous in all different styles of wedding venues.
Alterations: Designer size 2 and taken in at the waist, hemmed, and bustle hook added all by a tailor in NYC carefully done in 5 sessions. There were visible circular inlays (light beige) in the bodice that I also had removed. I am 5'1" (was wearing 80mm heels), typically wear a 24-25-inch waist, with a 34A top although I did not have the bust adjusted and there is easily room for a larger cup size in the bodice!
Condition: Although not dry cleaned after the wedding, this dress is in great condition - NO dancing or rigorous activities, only walking down the aisle and a cocktail reception hour outdoors which shows upon close inspection at the hem (pictured). Price reduced to reflect that I didn't dry clean it, since I personally think that dry cleaning and keeping the price higher wouldn't be worth it!
