Willowby by Watters 'La Luna' Collection
Absolutely LOVED this dress and hope someone else can love it the same or more!
It was worn on my wedding day two weeks ago (June 2021) and well taken care of during the event. Since it's only been worn for 6 hours, I don't want to preserve it and keep it in a box forever. I'd like someone else to have the chance at wearing this beautiful dress!
I am 5'9" and wore 3-4" heels with the dress. My bust is about 34 inches, 26 inch waist and 38 inch hips (A-line dress, hip size does not necessarily matter). The size (2) sounds small, especially with wedding dress sizing, however, Willowby's dress sizes are very similar to street sizes. Their gowns are more true to size than most designers in the industry.
The only alterations performed to the dress were to increase the mesh around the bust so that the bra pads were not so apparent, and hook and eyes added to bustle the dress. It's a ballroom bustle to where the dress looks like it did not have a train to begin with, once bustled. I have a video on how to bustle the dress for the person who purchases it.
From the designer: Oversized Dalia-inspired floral motifs cover Galatea's exquisite A-line silhouette. Two rows of Velvet Ribbon wrap around the bodice to secure the waist with a delicate bow in the back.
